Superb hotel

Liked: Stayed one night in a junior suite which was lovely big room with a bath and a shower. Located at the back of the building so no road noise. Great location in Cambridge very close to Fitzwilliam Museum and a short walk to main shopping area. Delicious breakfast.
Disliked: Dark wallpaper. Be careful re on-street parking times.

Would not stay again

Disliked: The hotel is tired and the bedroom showed signs of needing a refresh.The hotel staff offered an eco-friendly approach to housekeeping, but in reality, it was not pleasant not having your room cleaned, toilet rolls stocked up and basically ingnoredBreakfast and dinner were dissappointing for a hotel of this standard/

Liked: Best hotel ever in Cambridge, and what truly makes it exceptional is Kaplana. She is incredibly helpful, genuinely kind, and one of the most outstanding people I’ve ever met. Her warmth and dedication made my stay unforgettable♥️♥️

Disliked: We were made to feel very unwelcome staying here. On our first night, staff rang up to our room at 10pm insisting we paid our bill for the trip, despite us saying we were in our pjs and going to sleep. We could easily have settled up in the morning, it was highly unprofessional and made us feel really uneasy.On our first morning, we wanted to take a quick look in the library, but staff said we couldn’t as there was an event (the event was 8 hours later in the evening, it turns out).I can’t help but feel I was short changed! I was expecting a much higher level of service.Overall, lovely hotel, but staff really let it down for us.
