Perfect place for us and...

Liked: Great location (very central), receptionist was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was gorgeous although duvet was too thick so could have done with a thinner one and perhaps a blanket in the cupboard for extra warmth if needed. Apart from that everything was excellent. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Great location, quiet but central...

Liked: Great central location, perfect for quick access to the seafront and the Lanes without being too noisy. Bonus that it is pet friendly in most of the hotel (although not the bistro but this wasn't a problem for us) and a nice touch of a dog bed / dog bowls provided in the room. We enjoyed the breakfast and a drink in the bar.
Disliked: The room we had did feel like the pet room; I understand not all rooms can be suitable / available for pets but when the hotel is advertised as pet friendly and you pay a supplement for your pet, it is a little disappointing. The room itself was a little tired- for example the bathroom sink tap was loose on the wall and the cover for the fuse box over the door was missing. It was also a little small so if you had a large dog you'd be better in a slightly larger room, but it was perfectly comfortable for us with our small dog for a one night stay.

Disliked: Breakfast has gone down hill since we last stayed…Coffee from a self serve machine, toast self service, reduced choice on cooked menu… Whilst the rooms are good value, the breakfast is not.
