Liked: Very practical location, next to the metro station. The hotel is themed like a train, which is cute.
Disliked: The hotel is old and poorly maintained. It needs a makeover. The room was small, the mattress uncomfortable. No proper mirror - the one in the closet cannot be used because no light can reach this area.

Peaceful, convenient stay in Munich

Liked: The location is fantastic, right next to Sendlinger Tor, which is a hub of various means of public transportation and a lively shopping area. The room was small, but fine for one person, and best of all, very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The old-fashioned train decor was fun, too!
Disliked: The housekeeping was a bit erratic. Some days they straightened up the room in the morning and other days after lunchtime, but the room was kept clean. The buffet breakfast was fine, but maybe a bit expensive for what you get.

Liked: The staff are friendly, the room is a good size and comfortable. A cool USP. A good option in Munich
Disliked: Only slight downside is that the street can have some unsavoury characters there since there's a club a couple minutes up the road. But this isn't particularly noticeable
