Hotel Douro - Nice and...

Liked: The room was very nice and clean. The bed was very confortable. Very nice location, close to the subway and close to boavista roudabout.
Disliked: The tv on the room didn´t work.

Book this place if you...

Disliked: The building has seen better days. Not every room has a fridge. Wardrobe is very basic, there were no shelves, and occasionally smelled of urine - probably the sewage pipe is leaking somewhere in the wall. There are no mosquito nets installed, caught 7 in just one night. Make sure your first trip is to the nearest supermarket to buy some repellent, you won't sleep through the night without it. Staff is friendly, even if they don't understand you, receptionists were a little distant though.
