Comfortable room and the hotel’s...
Liked: The location, it’s near to multiple restaurants. Also, the room was very comfortable.
Disliked: The WiFi had weak signal, apparently. We were on Room 28 and we couldn’t connect to the WiFi provided by the staff.

Disliked: Warning : avoid this place. The hotel seemed pretty from the pictures and the location.However, I was given a single room (single bed) that was way too small and looked rundown with tear and wear. The bed was not dressed properly and a layer of bed linen laid on the mattress which I did not dare to look the state of it so I just laid on the bed without tucking myself in.The shower cabin was so small that despite being myself a rather slim body I couldn't fit in.The WC ring was detached and sliding.The windows faced a small courtroom infested with rats. One rat came into the room from bathroom window and ran off once spotted me. I had to keep windows shut at all times.The receptionist said he would cancel the reservation through Booking.com so to avoid paying fees and wanted me to rebook directly please them. One week later, they tried to collect payment and sent me a WhatsApp message without my permission to say first that my card was not 'valid', a second message saying my card had insufficient funds, a third message saying that my card had no money. How insulting? I replied to confirm that funds were available as and when I was happy for my card to be used. I contacted Booking.com to seek their assistance / they did not help. I did not feel comfortable to leave my bank card details with the hotel so queried if there were alternative ways to pay such as a bank transfer or through their website - no reply received. Instead, the hotel kept pestering me with lots of WhatsApp messages saying that my card had no money. The hotel staff without introducing with their name, shouted at me. I was verbally abused over the phone. I was not given a chance to speak and felt shaken. I told her I would put the phone down if she kept shouting. I has to hang up on her. Staying at the hotel and dealing with the staff it felt like dealing with crooks. Please be warned, avoid staying at the Domus Tiberina 'hotel'.
