Liked: Location and customer service were superb. After the door code didn’t work the emergency telephone contact was very helpful and got us into the room quickly.
Disliked: The bed in room 400 needs replacing. It was so creaky that you couldn’t move without making so much noise. This unfortunately led to a poor nights sleep.

Liked: Actually stayed at Domspitzen.Very close to the central station, good breakfast.
Disliked: The neighbourhood is a little dodgy.When people talk in the hallway, it can be heard in the rooms loudly, so very bad acoustics.

Cold and uncomfortable room, great...

Liked: The breakfast was the only thing we enjoyed in this hotel - great variety, ability to order fresh egg dishes, very friendly staff in the breakfast room, aesthetic presentation of the dishes. The location of the hotel is also practical, less than 10 minutes walk from the main train station, cathedral and musical venue.
Disliked: When I was booking the room, there were totally different pictures than what we got, so we were in shock. It turned out to be a small apartment with a kitchen (which does not make sense, because we booked a room with breakfast) with a nice coffee machine but not a single coffee capsule (you have to buy your own, I guess). The view from the room was to a barbed wire fence. But aesthetics aside, there are much bigger problems that have to be solved here. The heating was not working. The floors were extremely cold, there was not a single rug or carpet and no slippers, so I had to walk around in my boots all the time. The room is on the ground floor, which makes it even colder. The second big problem is the canalisation smell in the bathroom - it was there from the moment we entered the room, and the aroma-sticks placed there will not solve the problem. We told the reception about these issues during the check out, and I hope they will make an effort to solve these. They were friendly at the check out but not very friendly and kind of cold at the check in, by the way.

Liked: Very clean appartment in city-centre. I recommend Domstern as the best balance between price and quality of appartment.

Liked: Perfect location, comfortable beds, good curtains, high quality room heating. Also, lightning was good. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was cozy
Disliked: The bathroom was not clean ( a lot of dust on radiator and the water in bath did not go down the drain). Also, there was only 1 free socket in the room ( it is really a huge problem for people in 21st century)
