Lovely, comfortable stay at a...

Liked: Lovely building, furnishings, and decor. Room cozy and comfortable. Staff helpful, and nice breakfast. Location perfect as we were attending a symposium on the CSUC campus.
Disliked: Lack of decaf coffee at breakfast, and lack of a microwave in the room.

Liked: Nice location in town. Easy access to down town food and drink spots. Near Chico College and historical areas and parks. The room was clean and updated, fairly spacious. The bed was fairly comfortable.
Disliked: The room was noisy from mini frig., and light leaked above and below the door. When the building heating system came on sounded like a jet taking off all around us. The pillows were too hard and big for my liking and the comforter was too heave and hot, would rather have a lighter blanket to use. Other than that it was pleasant.

Great Location and Lots of...

Liked: The location of this historic hotel with a lot of atmosphere is excellent. We got a king suite on the top floor, the location was very private and quiet. Even though it was a Thursday after Christmas the lounge/bar was full with people, and the restaurant is also very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful, and downtown Chico, with many nice restaurants and shops is right outside. We could charge our car over night in their parking garage which was an extra plus.
