Liked: The swimming pool, sauna and spa
Disliked: The room was old, the carpet was old and shabby. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. The receptionist was acceptable but not friendly or welcoming. Last time we stayed in a family suite in the building across the road, it was SO much better, newer, fresher, slept better. I would not stay in the standard family room again, only the family suite.

Musty old hotel.

Liked: The pool. The dinner and breakfast buffet choice was great.
Disliked: Hotel building is really old and run down and needs a renovation. Room furnishing old and out dated and very musty with horrible carpets. Balcony full of cobwebs and spiders and not clean. The pool changing rooms are awkward and you have to walk through a reception area to get to the pool, with a sad thin towel to keep you warm, which I found extremely inconvenient.

Disliked: In our room when you use shower eventhoughyou close it , some water will still pass outside cubicle showers doors and could make people slip when out of shower ...we had to put towels on floor while using shower

Liked: The pool and the bathroom were very good and clean, and the breakfast was decent.
Disliked: I used to frequent the hotel years ago and I remembered it as a great place to relax for a few days. It did however feel a bit like a place that time had forgotten. The room (we had a suite by the pool) was run down and was in need of a makeover to justify the price that was charged. The room (and that was apparently the case for all the rooms) had no air condition, or indeed any kind of air circulation. The receptionist offered us a fan but it never materialised. Furthermore the service level was not what we expected either. Judging by the attitude of most of the staff, this is not a great place to work. The dinner offering was a buffet for which the charge was €39 per head, which didn't appear to be great value either. In summary this could be such a superb venue but it really isn't. Such an opportunity missed.
