Great stay. Clean and affordable...

Liked: Very clean, staff was great. Only a block over from Sendlinger Straße. Grocery store next door. Great value for staying in old town.
Disliked: Street outside can be a little noisy very late at night with random people yelling. It can feel like a bit of a hike to get to and back from Marienplatz or the Viktualienmarkt.

Well located and good value...

Liked: Location was great for exploring Munich. Plenty of sights within a short walking distance, and an Underground station just a few hundred yards walk away. Very clean. Extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful staff at reception, which is on the nearby Hotel de Train.
Disliked: No hot drink making facilities in the room

Everything was excellent

Liked: The room was very clean and warm and the location was amazing!!! The hotel was located next to the main shopping street of the old town and next to the metro. Everything was excellent I can't find a single negative!!!

Great location and well equipped...

Liked: The room was great for a family and the kitchenette was well stocked to allow us to cook breakfast/lunch/dinner, which saved us quite a bit of money. The location was excellent; it's about 10 minutes walk to Marienplatz. I didn't use public transport too much, but Sendlinger Tor stop for the trains was easily accessed too.
Disliked: The only downside is that the streets are noisy through the evenings, and the room gets quite warm even in winter, so you can't really sleep with the windows open unless you bring a noise machine. The fan helps if the windows are closed, and it adds some white noise too,
