Three cheers for the Hotel...

Liked: Incredibly helpful and cooperative staff who worked with all the Eaton Fire refugees and first responders staying at the hotel.
Disliked: Restaurant was closed for dinner, but that was due to the emergency situation.

Disappointed.

Disliked: They price gouged during the fires. Raised my rate nearly double after the first night. Never sent me a receipt I need for insurance.

Liked: As a fire evacuee, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and value of the hotel. The entire team was exceptional in making Altadena feel welcome during a trying time.

Liked: I thought the hotel was very nice. Clean and comfortable.
Disliked: I got there about 7:30 pm and I had to wait about 1/2 for my room. I asked the guy, checking me to ask if they could call me a cab in the morning because I was going into the hospital. He said yes. The next morning, I went down at about 5 am. and was told no, they couldn't call for me because I needed to order a cab 24 hours in advance. I told him I needed to go to the hospital, and he told me to check with the evacuation center to see if they could take me. I wanted something light to eat and drink the night before, and when I asked about vending machines, I was told that they didn't have any. They didn't tell me the self check snack area was available near the check-in desk.
