Great location, but do NOT...

Liked: The location of the hotel is excellent, and walking distance from most major attractions. Just five minutes from the Spanish steps. The roof top breakfast was also very pleasant.
Disliked: When we booked, the booking mentioned a separate building, however we assumed this was an annex to the main hotel. It was in fact a five minute walk down the street and totally removed from the hotel. This separate section is dimly lit and in need of refurbishment, the showers for example had mold.When we moved to the main hotel it was much better - so very much a game of two halves.

Liked: Breakfast was very good. We loved the location because we walked to most attractions.
Disliked: The room met or exceeded our expectations, so I don’t have any negative comments.

Liked: Location was excellent. The room was very clean.
Disliked: Shower tile was missing and in very bad shape.. For the type of room, how noisy it was and the bad condition of the shower tile, it was overpriced. We found a better room a block away for 50 euros less.

The room was basic but...

Liked: Great location and friendly staff
Disliked: It was very noisy. The room keys are key lock rather than keycard and we were kept up by constant sound of locking and unlocking rooms. Our room door was directly infront of a staff closet which we could hear being opened and closed regularly from 7am each morning. At times it sounded as if someone was unlocking our room as it was so noisy and close by.

Location was good but facilities...

Liked: Clean and good location
Disliked: Shower broken, very cold room that I got sick. No option to change temperature. I was told the room only had AC and that was broken. Room claustrophobic as only a tiny window looking internal wall.
