Liked: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel de Westertoren in Amsterdam, and I’d like to share my thoughts on the staff, room, location, and breakfast.The staff were welcoming and efficient. They allowed us to check in early in the morning, which we greatly appreciated after our long journey.The room facilities were very good considering the rating and price. The bed was comfortable (very soft), with a pleasant leafy view, a flatscreen TV, and a shower in the room. A well-maintained shared toilet was conveniently located nearby.The hotel's location is truly ideal. Situated just a short walk from Dam Square, it places guests in the heart of central Amsterdam. This proximity makes it easy to explore many of the city's attractions on foot, enhancing the overall convenience of the stay. The surrounding area is charming, lined with canals and local shops, providing an authentic Amsterdam experience.Breakfast was delivered to the room around 8:30 am, as advised at check-in, and included a croissant, bread, cheese, jam, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, and a biscuit.Additionally, the hotel's decor reflects the authentic style of Old Amsterdam, featuring beautiful, narrow stairs that add character to the place.
Disliked: Steep narrow stairs may be difficult for some, but more than worth it for the overall experience of staying in such a place and only avoidable by sacrificing on location and character. It exceeded expectations and I'll be very happy to return.

Liked: Location perfect for exploring the centre easy walk from train station ,breakfast delivered to room at 8.30 Nice towels changed every day ,hot shower, tea ,coffee and kettle room cleaned every day, very friendly staff , key for 24hr access and tv
Disliked: It's a 2 star hotel it is what it is , don't expect ibis style decor it is more individual , Also not a critism but the stairs up to the hotel are long and steep and may not be appropriate for those with mobility issues ( no lift )Not a criticism , soft bed , don't expect firm / hard bed
