very good!

Liked: The breakfast is ok.
Disliked: The breakfast could improved and more fresh.

Not good value for money...

Liked: Unique room design. In my case Florence Nightingale room.
Disliked: The noise from kitchen and bar below my room. Noisy until past midnight and then again from 6am.Towels not changed in bathroom. Lock on bedroom door kept sticking. Breakfast was very basic and not worth the money.

Liked: We love the decor and history not to mention the very friendly service.

Decent stay

Liked: The room was very neat, tidy and spacious, and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: The breakfast selection wasn't very special, and the floor heating in the bathroom was incredibly hot. The price of the parking wasn't made clear on arrival and we were surprised with the cost.

Best hotel to stay in...

Liked: Excellent location. Very nice breakfast room area, large, nicely decorated. Very large room (Gandhi room) well furnished. Comfortable large double bed. Good variety of food for breakfast and excellent service. Coffee machine and kettle in the room.
Disliked: The bed cover too warm for the season. Just a couple of miserable hangers in the closet. No mini bar (no refrigerator).

Disliked: Noise from the kitchen kept me awake half the night

Superb

Liked: Lovely location in this pretty town, with restaurant and terrace. The historic hotel is of great interest with each room themed to a Freedom Fighter. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Lovely restaurant for dinner and lunch. Dog friendly except the restaurant.

No worth the price tag

Liked: Location is great, it's close to everything in Wageningen and it's easy to access.
Disliked: Price is way to high for what you end up getting. Imean 150eur for 1 night and not even breakfast included. That is Randstad price but no way it's an appropriate price for Wageningen. Plus it's not like you get a hotel with extra facilities (pool, sauna, etc.). Sure it has a bit of historical value but again not worth the money. Better go to Veluwe at that point and pay this amount of money for a hotel in there. At least you'll have spa facilities and be surounded by nature.

Superb

Liked: This town lacked such a nice hotel with great environment and service when I studied in Wageningen University three years ago. The hotel is located on the main street, so it is very convenient to go shopping and eating on the main street. The bus station is also only 200 meters away from the hotel, so it is very convenient to go to the campus and other cities. The room is large enough, the bed is very soft, and there is a desk for work. If you come to Wageningen for a visit or travel, staying in this hotel is a good choice.
Disliked: There is a tightly closed door in the room which feels like it links the next room, which made me feel a little uncomfortable when I first entered. The lighting in the room was a bit dim at night and there was no main light for illumination.
