Location, smart but country quaint

Liked: This would be the best hotel in Wageningen. It's classy and old style. Bedroom was huge, each are decorated/dedicated to a famous person/style. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection and was good. There was no dedicated fridge in the room, but could be rolled in from the corridor if required. Well located on the town centre (shopping, bars, eating), and a short walk to the bus station for access around. Evening restaurant is very upmarket.
Disliked: Evening restaurant is very upmarket - some more regular options might have been good. I don't always want to go out to eat for comfort food.

Disliked: The lighting in the room was insufficient, there were no hooks to hang our winter coats.

Liked: Unique room design. In my case Florence Nightingale room.
Disliked: The noise from kitchen and bar below my room. Noisy until past midnight and then again from 6am.Towels not changed in bathroom. Lock on bedroom door kept sticking. Breakfast was very basic and not worth the money.

Liked: We love the decor and history not to mention the very friendly service.

Decent stay

Liked: The room was very neat, tidy and spacious, and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: The breakfast selection wasn't very special, and the floor heating in the bathroom was incredibly hot. The price of the parking wasn't made clear on arrival and we were surprised with the cost.
