Liked: The hotel is adequately rated as 2 star hotel: it provides clean rooms at a very good price close to the train station and a 5min walk away from the historic city centre. There are several cafés and restaurants nearby.The staircase is only dimly lit but there is also an elevator available.There was a single bed in my room, a desk, aircon, tv and a recently renovated bathroom. All was well-maintained and functional. I would have liked to gave a kettle in the room to make myself a coffee/tea in the morning.The staff was friendly.
Disliked: I couldn’t pay by card as the card reader was defective which is quite inconvenient.

A Good Budget Choice

Liked: An older , well located. budget hotel. To the west is the old city, to the east, an uscale area with food and shopping, and south a seaside promenade. WiFi, check-in fine. Has front desk staff. Close to Castelo Argonese (free tours in Italiano) and a museum.
Disliked: For the price, all was good. Did not have breakfast, so no opinion.
