We had a wonderful stay!...

Liked: The room was modern and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. We never heard other guests. The location in the French Quarter was perfect for walking everywhere.
Disliked: We told them it was our 35th wedding anniversary and our first time in New Orleans. It would have been nice if they had acknowledged that in some way, like a room upgrade, bottle of champagne, etc. Also, we had to ask more than halfway through our stay for our room to be freshened up.

Great home base for French...

Liked: There is a destination fee at all of the New Orleans hotels. Effectively this gives you daily use-it-or-lose-it credits for the hotel restaurant and/or bar. This was the first time I had this fully explained to me at a check-in! The restaurant at the hotel was quite good and it was a positive part of the experience.The folks at the front desk responded promptly to a couple of room needs.The location is at the western end of the Quarter and is within easy walking distance to the riverfront, Canal Street transportation, Jackson Square, and the rest of the Quarter. We took cars from the airport and walked everywhere else during our stay here. The rooms are modern and fresh while the hotel still fits in with the Quarter. It's a nice balance.

Liked: Great location and cute, comfortable hotel!! Very cute!
Disliked: I just wished the elevator had AC. It was hot! All other areas were really comfortable and cute.

Liked: The gmy was well equipped and the bar/restaurant connected to the hotel had great drink and food options.
Disliked: The pool I thought would be a bit bigger and much colder for the month of August.
