Perfect stay in the city...

Liked: Classic style hotel
Disliked: Old. Central heating in the bedrooms doesn’t work and the there was only one small blanket, we were cold throughout the whole night. Staff charged the city tax ATTER we left, it wasn’t included in the price.

Great stay.

Liked: This small but cosy hotel has the charm of an older family run establishment. It's perfect for it's central location in the old town close to all shops cafes, museum, transport links including both Eurostar and local trains and metro. It's not on the main street so it is quiet at night. The staff are fabulous. The bed was very comfortable and house-keeping daily. The walls are thin but it's a quiet establishment. Great stay. Highly recommended if you're looking for some authenticity. Plus a bath.

Would stay here again if...

Liked: Great location for sightseeing. Easy to find and check-in was straightforward. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Free wi-fi worked OK. TV had BBC news. The downstairs bar was reasonably priced and the staff were all helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The cooked breakfast was tasty enough but I prefer larger portions. However, not a big issue if you're staying in town for a long lunch - there are plenty of places to choose from in Lille.

Disliked: The room was a little dated. The bathroom wasn’t well ventilated. Room was however very comfortable.
