Very good

Liked: The location was good, it was clean and quiet. The staff were nice.
Disliked: No tea and coffee in the room. It was quite small but fine for a city break.

Functional for a short stay

Liked: Great staff, friendly, respectful, helpful. Perfect location! Most things can be done walking and it's a great arrondissement, cute cafés and brasseries.Nice balcony with a cute view on the inner street, no noise from outside.
Disliked: Room was a bit small (3 guests) but functional for a short stay. The door of the bathroom wasn't closing which is not ideal, and there is a lot of noice in the hotel which hinders the sleeping conditions.

Good in terms of price...

Liked: Good location
Disliked: The room for 3 people is small, the room is cold because the room radiator is insufficient, but the heating problem was solved with an additional electric heater because the people who were conflicting were helpful.

Good hotel in a great...

Liked: Welcoming. Off main street, so was quiet.
Disliked: Minor thing. We were down a small corridor. Was woken on 3 mornings by someone going in anfmd out of their room at least 4 times between 6 45 and 7 45. Not sure it wasn't cleaning staff.

I really like to stay...

Liked: The location was great. The metro is too close, and the louver is just 23 mins of walk. Staff were so nice to us and the hotel gives real coffee thanks for that. It was a great room and hotel just an old.
Disliked: The room was okay; I don't like showering. There is only 1 thing to cover the whole shower. But it was clean, it's just an old hotel and need to be redesigned.Wifi was so bad :(

Simple but solid

Liked: The room was tiny, but functional - we spent all the time outside and only came to the hotel to sleep, so it wasn't an issue, but something to mention if you are expecting more comfort. For us, what mattered most was the location which couldn't have been better, we were able to walk to most of our points of interest including the train station, and for attractions further away there is metro stations nearby. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. There was heating in the room but it was a bit wonky, at points it didn't work or took very long to start. The room was clean. Towels were changed daily. I found it odd though that shower gel was provided but not shampoo. We didn't try the breakfast as there are many bakeries and restaurants in the area we wanted to try out. Overall we are satisfied with our stay and would stay here again.
