Great option to enjoy Rouen

Liked: It was very well located, walking distance to pretty much every point of interest for a tourist, and right around the corner to a supermarket and a laundromat. The bus lines that run right by the hotel came in extremely handy too, because a couple of them reach the train station. The staff were very kind and helpful. I'd recommend the buffet style breakfast they offer if you usually have big breakfasts, the variety and quality of the options was great. The room itself had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well.
Disliked: The room felt a bit crammed and outdated, but that was not really a problem for us because we didn't spend much time at the hotel anyway.

Liked: Basic but comfortable rooms. Excellent location next to the Cathedral in Central Rouen. Excellent breakfast and service.

This quirky hotel is in...

Liked: This hotel is in a fantastic location in the centre of Rouen adjacent to the cathedral. Our room was quirky with a view over the courtyard and the cathedral. The buffet style breakfast was good value.
Disliked: We were unable to adjust the heating which was provided by a huge cast iron radiator. We had to sleep with the double doors to the balcony open in order to be comfortable. We parked at Hotel De Ville which is several blocks away but easily accessible. If travelling by car you need to be aware of the requirement for a Crit'Air sticker. From application this can take several weeks to arrive.

Liked: We loved this hotel for its charm, for Room 8, and for the kind & accommodating staff. Very fairly priced, also. Can' wait to return!

Liked: Character with location in a lovely part of Rouen on the doorstep of plenty of bars and restaurants and the magnificent Cathedral.
Disliked: No milk provided in the room for tea/coffee.
