Enough going for it to...
Liked: Comfortable beds and great shower temperature and flow. Included breakfast was very good, as was the delicious evening meal prepared in the kitchen on the premises.
Disliked: The noise and music from the bar below carried on until 1.30am on Saturday night. I knew it was a public house with accommodation above but I wasn’t expecting the revelries to go on much past midnight. I am a light sleeper, so had to delay my bedtime until all was quiet below. The floor in my room squeaked a lot, which was a bit disconcerting in case I woke other guests whenever I walked around the room. Given the age and style of the building and exposed wooden ceiling on the ground floor, maybe this cannot be fixed easily. The guest wifi password should be provided in the room, rather than me having to ask for it.

We had a pleasant stay,...
Liked: The Location was good. The hotel was recently renovated. There was a small parking lot on the opposite side of the road. The 4 bed room was in the attic. Very nice and roomy. The shower was good and the Included breakfast was very nice with lots of Egg varieties. There was a large T.V. With a nice selection of channels, Free WiFi, Airco and a little refrigerator for drinks. The beds were very comfy and sturdy. Just how I like them.
Disliked: We stayed from Friday evening to Saturday morning. Unfortunately the door that connects the bar to the Hotel was open frequently what resulted in a lot of Bar noise (talking, loud music etc.) echoing into the central hotel stairwell. The Guests (hotel guests or bar guests?) were also yelling in the stairwell and throwing doors. This made me wake up around 6-8 times that night. This lasted up until 3AM. If you need a good night sleep avoid the weekends I guess... I can recommend the owner to put a door closer on the hotel entrance door including a lock that can be opened only by the Hotel guests. With an instruction to close the door behind them after entering the Hotel part. In that way the drunk Bar Guests won't bother the Hotel guests. Also, some noise prevention (felt?) measures should be taken to dampen the noises and speech in the central stairwell. This would greatly improve the Hotel experience.
