Liked: Very helpful staff indeed given they managed an added "challenge": I did arrive with a large van the size of which the usual car park could not accommodate. Nevertheless, the receptionist reacted very quickly and courteously and found a space where my vehicle was safe whilst other guests were not inconvenienced. Well done!Nice restaurant too.
Disliked: Not that it's a major point but there's no bar (just a kind of sitting room where you can have a drink though). Not a big deal.

Liked: Everything was perfect. Clean comfortable. Good food. Excellent breakfast. Nice atmosphere. We have been here several times and it has even improved, recently. We highly recommend this hotel.

A fantastic hotel worth an...

Liked: The hotel has a really warm and comfortable feel as soon as you walk in. The lounge areas are very comfortable with an honesty bar that was well stocked and reasonably priced.We had our dogs with us and although we were unable to take them into the restaurant we were able to book a table in the bar area and were served there for dinner.The food at the restaurant was extremely good and very well priced too.The bedroom was well decorated and very comfortable with Rituals amenities in the bathroom.The parking was secure too and was free to park.I would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: The only negative comment I can give is purely the location as it is quite a walk into the city centre. It probably takes approx 30 to 40 mins to walk in depending on how fast you walk.
