Overall it was ok

Liked: The hotel grounds are very beautiful. The room overlooks the pool and the nearby sea in general.
Disliked: What I didn’t like was the very poor choice of dishes for breakfast. In my humble opinion, there should be a so-called Swedish table where the guest could choose what he wants to eat a given day.

Lovely and peaceful

Liked: Lovely peaceful setting, easy access to a small beach. Park around the hotel very well kept.The staff are amazing and very helpful and responsive to any questions.Breakfasts good.
Disliked: There is a very rough dirt track of about a mile to the hotel from the busy main road and no apparent way of walking to anywhere. Definitely need to drive when venturing out of the hotel.We tried the snacks on offer for lunch but found them not very good and overpriced so eating away from the hotel was preferable.

Liked: Beautiful landscape and gardens, the new renovated rooms particularly beautiful and comfortable, the staff at the reception very kind, they took into account our desire regarding the room
Disliked: Like the previous comments, we also have a very bad opinion about the breakfast, very few options and poor quality food, also the staff very distant and arrogant and wasps everywhere The swimming pool near the beach is very poorly maintained and no toilets nearby

Beautiful Hotel in amazing grounds....

Liked: The grounds of the hotel were absolutely beautiful. The infinity pool with sea views and small private beach and main pool were just gorgeous. There was never a situation where we had to fight for beds. The bar/restaurant used during the day was an essential part of enjoying the hotel during the day as the hotel, while not being rural was a little away from any inhabited area.The breakfast was served btwn 0800 and 1000hrs and took a while to get to grips with what was available and what was included in the booking. Four items were allowed to be ordered and two drinks. This took a few days to get to grips with but once we understood the staff got to know our likes and were able to understand our orders.
Disliked: When ordering from the bar/restaurant during the day there was no clear recording of what was ordered which was important because we were away with two other couples and didn't want to be paying for things we didn't order.We didn't sign for our order which would have made things so much easier for challenging any questionable order.The staff often asked us many orders later to tell them which order related to which room, almost getting annoyed with us even though this was the hotel's policy.We did bring this to the hotels management's attention to try to avoid future confusion.

Liked: We had a lovely stay!!😊 The staff is extremly kind and helpful and the food is so delicious! We will come back!

Superb

Liked: The location and layout of the hotel, the way that rooms are spaced, not like a high hotel block😁. The grounds were immaculate. Room servicing was great, new towels every day. The reception team were attentive, especially Paolo with his local knowledge and recommendations for places to visit on the island.
Disliked: The road(track) down to the hotel, we thought we'd taken a wrong turn even though the facility was signposted.The Evening meal option is in my opinion overpriced and lacks quality, it would be beneficial to have a 'none' a la carte menu with local options if you do not want to partake in the full menu.The serving staff were hot n cold - at breakfast they didn't seem very happy in their work and when we did try the evening menu, after booking a table in advance we were made to feel uncomfortable when we arrived for our sitting and were told they were not expecting us. The waiter did sort a table for us but it seemed like a real chore for him.
