Exceptional

Great staff

Liked: The hotel is lovely just outside the busyness of the main attraction but only a walk to everything or quick bus , train station was not far either which has direct line to and from the airport. The staff were all lovely and always greeted us big smiles and so helpful. The only negative was that the lift did not work which would of been nice to know but they are located only one floor up and the lovely lady on reception did bring down my mams bag for her when leaving as her balance isn’t great if you really struggle with stairs I would ask before arrival but I’m sure they will have it fixed soon

Disliked: Everything was great, but our room was above a pub with live music (every night). Unfortunately, the noise was above tolerance...

Disappointing

Liked: The staff at Cortina was very nice and helpful. My review is not a reflection on them. Sara was wonderful and made sure I had what I needed.
Disliked: I do not feel the room was as advertised. It was inexpensive and maybe I expected to much for the price paid but the rooms had not been redone in a very long time. Everything was very dated. Additionally, the elevator was broken so if you have a very heavy suitcase or mobility issues, you cannot stay here. Even with the elevator fixed I would not recommend this property to someone with mobility issues. There are multiple, single steps up and down within a floor that would make moving through difficult. The hot water took at least 5 minutes to be available after turning on just the hot water. I would not stay here again or recommend to anyone.
