Excellent hotel, close to everything,...

Liked: The breakfast was exceptional, and went from 7am-11am. Delicious pastries, eggs, bacon, yogurt with toppings, and plenty of things to choose from for a great breakfast. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Thre room was very comfortable , with good shower and amenities. The atmosphere in the lobby was very conducive to relaxing with a book, while listening to the lovely music being played all day. The huge wall tile mural at reception was incredibly beautiful, and you must take a picture to see its real shape. The staff arranged for a car to take us to the airport, with a very reasonable price, and it worked out well on our day of departure. The location is right in the historic section, the Alfama area, with many structures from the 14th century, including this hotel. It was a 14th century convent, which is now a modern, lovely hotel, full of charm and history, and I absolutely would recommend it to anyone looking to be in the center of things, yet quiet and comfortable.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like. It was a wonderful hotel.

Perfect! Absolutely fantastic hotel!

Liked: Staff were super friendly, extremely clean hotel. The courtyard is lovely and a nice area to have a drink with friends. Definitely one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Superb location right in the heart of Alfama with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Great breakfast as well with a mix of continental and British food as well as a good selection of pastries.Extremely pleased with my stay, recommend it to anyone and will definitely book again if I'm ever back in Lisbon. Thank you to everyone who made our stay a perfect weekend!
Disliked: Not that I didn't like it, this is more constructive criticism: - we had a vent in our bedroom who came on early morning and went off late evening - we asked if it was possible to switch it off, reception wasn't too sure how to.- the pillow can be a bit soft, maybe having a soft one and a hard one would be beneficial.- we had to buzz to get into reception if we were back late waiting onnsomeone to open the door. Maybe using our bedroom card to open the hotel door would be a plus.No other issues and these didn't affect our lovely stay at all.

Liked: Extremely friendly staff- helped with logistics and recommendations. This is a beautiful hotel and courtyard. Breakfast was excellent. Always great to have free coffee available all day.
Disliked: The bed could be a bit more comfortable.

Exceptional

Liked: Cool hotel in great location. Loved courtyard and bar.
Disliked: Couldn't turn air on even though it was warm. Had to open windows and smoke came in from courtyard. Plus it was loud.
