Liked: Breakfast was wonderful, staff was wonderful, Jorge and others at the front counter were very friendly and helpful. Location excellent! Room was excellent and Luz and other ladies cleaning did an excellent job. Thank you

Antiquated hotel along the river...

Liked: very nice staff. Great location -- 8 minutes walking to the Guggenheim and 10 minutes walking to the Casco Antiguo.
Disliked: the mattresses were terrible; not at all firm. There was a LOT of noise from the interior of the building -- slamming doors, people walking in the room above me, loud hallway conversations among the cleaning staff.

Nicely Equipped Room, Well Located

Liked: Modern well equipped *** hotel. Very nice bathroom with 2 sinks is a plus for a hotel of this class and price range. Half way between Gogenheim Museum and the old town. Like many downtown hotels, next to no parking at the hotel. We parked in a public underground lot 10 minutes away for 22€ overnight.

Excellent choice to visit or...

Liked: The hotel is very well place, close walking distance to center, casco viejo, museums, parks and conference centers. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant of the hotel is of good price and good food.Bilbao is an excellent city.
