Disappointing

Liked: The size of the Bruce Suite was good. The hotel is centrally located.
Disliked: A hotel where everything feels 'extra/chargeable' on arrival (for example to hold luggage for the remainder of your day once you've checked out - I have never seen this before!). You will be also be charged a hefty premium for some services (e.g. Breakfast) for booking through this website. The parking is also somewhat problematic.The absurd parking arrangement - you are unable to pay for more than 24hr in one go (in a hotel!), and the location code necessary for the daily parking 'renewal' (which needs to be done in an exact 15 minute window) is not made available beyond posters on-site in reception or hidden behind QR codes provided at check in (and not, as one might find helpful, from a publicly available/googleable website, or on the prior days' confirmation email). I shudder to think the number of fines that this generates.The staff were disappointingly unhelpful when pointing this out (obviously this is not a reflection on them, but perhaps the lack of motivation they have from leadership/owners).

No risk of disappointment here.

Liked: The fact that I cannot think of a single issue of complaint. Absolutely happy with everything - staff, room, comfort - everything.
Disliked: Not a great view out my window

Always a nice stay

Liked: The fact that they allowed our little dog Chilli to share the room with us for a small charge. A very smooth, quick check in also, despite arriving late in the evening.
Disliked: Paying to park,but I guess that's just a thig these days ?

Disliked: The fact that you had to pay £15 per day as a hotel guest is quite shocking!! Also breakfast extremely expensive,which we didn’t take because of that! The manager kindly waived the parking charge for us.No food in hotel for evening, it was our Silver Wedding Anniversary & was planning on a meal for eight friends, so had to go elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel, great service and...

Liked: Gorgeous room in a very convenient location. The breakfast was outstanding, staff service was excellent. Would gladly stay here again, I wish we had a chance to have stayed longer! Nice and close to Stirling Castle, and surrounding restaurants in walking distance.
Disliked: No issues.
