Lovely and enjoyable stay as...

Liked: Lovely clean and modern hotel in a great location. Staff are friendly and welcoming breakfast was good too.
Disliked: Just seemed a bit quiet for Christmas but that wasn’t a dislike.

Overall my stay was pleasant.

Liked: The room and bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and I slept very soundly.
Disliked: There was a small insect (not sure what it was but not a spider) on the bed so this made me feel I had to check the mattress etc before getting into it. There were also some marks on one of the pillowcases although everything looked very clean the marks had obviously not come out in the wash.

Could have been better.

Liked: Location is central in Stirling.
Disliked: There was only 1 poor member of staff on for breakfast. He was having to do everything and there were too many guests to be able to do this efficiently. We had to keep asking other staff in the hotel to help him. Decor was needing updated. Rooms clean but carpet threadbare.
