Impressive view of the town...

Liked: The view is impressive (do book for a room with a balcony seeing the town). The common area also get your wonderful views nevertheless. You could simply stay in the hotel without getting out and seeing the best views, and they have a restaurant attached to the hotel. If you want to explore the town, the hotel is close to the center and bus stations too. Staff is nice and easy. Flexible regarding check-in/check-out. Clean ladies are doing a great job in keeping the places clean
Disliked: Wifi only works near the reception areas, not in rooms. That's a major drawback. Curtains are not thick enough so people who need complete darkness for sleep may need an eye shield.

I would never stay here...

Disliked: NO wifi, they only give you 1 towel per person, for all your stay, lack of staff, it felt almost like an abandoned house, pool without maintenance, and even when the weather is super hot, the pool is just too cold to even try swimming, room without any Amenities, the hotel is simply abandoned and falling apart, black mold on the bathroom, rusty shower, hard bed, a tv that shows just half of the image, no refrigerator, or AC, or hair drier, bed lamps ... Just not a single thing but the bed, a super bad bulb in the middle of the room, and that's it, not even outlets near the bed, the only one is all the other way of the room... I just don't recommend this, it's simply a 1 star hotel

Liked: Carlos was very nice, and Jair for the tours was awesome. The place had a beautiful view of the city and breakfast was good .

A million-dollar view makes up...

Liked: The view from the hotel and the room was better than I expected--breathtakingly beautiful and worth all the other quirks this hotel had. The bed was VERY comfortable. I checked the mattress (just checking for bed bugs - found none) and it looked pretty new. The bathroom was clean. It's not that far from the Zocalo - I walked to it in exactly 15 minutes. That view makes the whole stay worth it.
Disliked: Like many reviewers mentioned, my room had some "quirks." The door to my room, to be exact, was rather interesting. The very top part of the door was open. No glass - maybe at one time there was glass. It did have a lock. The door opened to a hallway. On one side of the hallway was the room with my bed and the other side of the hallway was a large bathroom and a closet. The doorknob was missing from the door to the bedroom and nothing was covering the missing doorknob. And the door did not close. I had put my suitcase against the door to keep it closed. It was weird, but the main door was locked, so I felt sort of secure. Overall, I would stay here again just because the price is really good and you get a million-dollar view and the bed was very comfortable. Just go into your stay knowing the hotel has some issues and you'll be fine.
