Lack of transparency and seriousness

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The fact that we had a reservation with this hotel and werent able to utilize it without a single prior notice! We had a 40min walk to the actual hotel where it was supposed to do the check-in, and in the hotel entrance we were confronted with a notice that "the hotel was closed and under renovation". The notice informed about a sister hotel and only provided the number while not stating the actual sister hotel. We were able to find the sister hotel through open sources and had another 25min walk! This is totally unnacceptable as the hotel had more than enough time to inform me as my whole trip was accordingly planned based on the location of the hotel I had booked!

Pleasant

Disliked: “When I booked this hotel, I thought I had made the right choice. However, it turned out to be disappointing. The room I was given was extremely small, and the internet didn’t work. I reported the issue to the reception several times, but there was no response or action taken to resolve the lack of internet. As a result, I spent three days in isolation without internet. If you have work to do and end up staying at this hotel, you will likely be disappointed — unless, of course, you’re a writer and the lack of internet doesn’t bother you.The hotel’s location is good, but I must mention the hotel manager (presumably), a curly-haired woman, who was yelling at an employee in front of guests during breakfast.Additionally, from early morning, the noise from renovation work, drilling, and hammering wouldn’t let you rest unless you went down for breakfast and gave up on sleeping in.In summary, the best thing about this hotel is its location.P.S. The above-mentioned issues are not what one would expect from a hotel named after one of the most distinguished kings in Danish history.”

Excellent value for money, friendly...

Liked: Excellent location for exploring central Copenhagen, short walk to several of the metro stations. Great breakfast in scandi style breakfast room, which was accessable throughout the day and evening, with free tea and coffee.
Disliked: Room smallish and 'tired' looking, small bathroom. We were told the hotel is currently upgrading the rooms.
