Beautiful and quirky.
Liked: The location was fantastic we could walk to all main attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were two singles travelling together and the room was very clean and comfortable. There was a kettle available to borrow and even a small bar fridge which is unusual in European hotels. it's a very old and quirky hotel within an arcade of shops and cafes. We loved it.
Disliked: It could be a little stuffy but we were able to open the large windows in the room. We stayed in Autumn but in summer it may be a bit warm as there was no air conditioning.

Very French hotel experience in...
Liked: Quaint room beautifully decorated and the hotel and room were very French. Lovely front desk staff and great breakfast in the cute little breakfast room. But the best thing was the location… in the center of one of Paris’ wonderful passages (covered shopping street), and just a few steps from the Grands Boulevard metro.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything.

Hotel Chopin stay
Liked: It was in a good location and the beds were comfortable. The hotel cat, Clarinet is gorgeous, 10/10 for her!
Disliked: The room 405 is very tired. There's water stains on the ceilings and the wallpaper is peeling off in places. The bathroom is tiny, it was quite the squeeze in the shower and there's mouldy condensation on the ceiling.I think the expression "you get what you pay for" is correct for this hotel, maybe in its hay day it was beautiful but feels very much past it's best. As long as you're just looking for a comfortable bed and place to get washed and head out it will do.
