A nice hotel with some...

Liked: The hotel was probably refurbished recently because it looks really nice and modern. The room was spacious and nicely furnished, with very comfortable beds. The location is also nice, with plenty of restaurants and the old port within walking distance. You can do your laundry for free, which is very convenient.
Disliked: I didn't like the absence of daily housekeeping. Apparently you have to request it the day before but even after asking for it, it was limited to emptying the trashcan. No cleaning and no making up the beds, which is disappointing considering the price of the room. Breakfast was also disappointing because there is no buffet and you can only choose from a limited menu. If you want to have cereals or oatmeal for breakfast, forget it. The kitchen in my room was lacking cookware. If you put a hob, then you must give me a pan...

Disliked: They had canceled our booking (which was confirmed and made the previous year) and sent us to more expensive affiliated accommodation 50 minutes away because that was the only option. No excuses. No refunds. No special offer.

Old, unfriendly & not worth...

Liked: The kitchenette was ok.Restaurant staff were nice to us.
Disliked: The hotel is not accessible for strollers or wheelchairs, only way to enter is by using stairs. Keep in mind if you plan to come with that or even with suitcases you will lift in the stairs.The hotel is very old, and the reconstruction was only cosmetic, old rooms and baths, everything is dark.The air conditioner was part of the window, if you want to close the curtain so not all the street will see your room - you cannot leave the air conditioner on…The lady at the check-in desk didn’t know English which is quite common thing to know if you work in hotel. Also directed us to unready room (bed without sheets) which took us another time to settle in the room.
