Spend your money elsewhere!

Liked: I liked that the location was central but nothing else really.
Disliked: My first negative review! Unfortunately for the money I paid this room it was v disappointing. The surfaces were not clean, I had to reclean them myself. There was food packaging (McDonald’s) left under the bed. The shower was so old it didn’t feel clean after using. Bathroom was more dated than the photos. The lighting was so very dark, lack of mirror and the only lighting that was present flickered consistently so I was unable to use. The bedding made me itchy and just overall everything felt dirty. Requested a quiet room but unfortunately was very noisy with all the nightclubs/bars outside. The receptionist didn’t seem happy to be working there and wasn’t the friendliest. I noticed a few new people were struggling to get into reception because it was never manned and gave up enquiring for a room because nobody came. The smell was the worst thing for me, the room smelt so musty and no matter how much I tried to spray / open windows it lingered. For a room like this the price was crazy.

Liked: The position of the hotel is great, close to Grote Markt. The staff is exceptional, really friendly feeling.
