A wonderful home away from...

Liked: We had multiple rooms for our family members. One side of this hotel is newer- facilities were fine, modern and clean but not necessarily charming or memorable. We had 2 rooms on the older side that were beautiful. Room 1- lovely victorian decor with high ceilings. Room 2. The attic was large but cozy, exposed beams and stone walls- with a full kitchen..it was fabulous and became the room in which we all gathered in the evening. Free coffee all day- and good coffee, was a plus! Wine on site was appreciated. We visited for Winter Carnival and all festivities were easy to walk to. The staff was great.
Disliked: Wish we had known about the difference in the room types- I felt a bit bad for those of us who had the newer rooms because the rooms on the older side were gorgeous.

Liked: The location was good.the staff were lovely and helpful. The room was large and very clean. Coffee and tea were available in reception . Breakfast was $15 for a buffet.
Disliked: The pillows and bed were not comfortable but that's just my opinion, too firm for my personal liking. More coffee and tea options would've been nice in the room.

Liked: Super clean, amazing ambiance, Great breakfast, very groovy decor (but not over the top). Staff very friendly, wine bottles for sale in lobby (and wine vending machines for single glass). I would SO stay here again (yes please!)
Disliked: Hmmmm. No housekeeping. Stayed 3 nights, Had to ask for toilet paper refill.
