Located in the heart of Rome 656 feet from Termini Station Hotel Champagne Palace is set in a historic building. It features an elegant décor original paintings and ancient furnishings. All of our rooms are airconditioned with a satellite Tv and some of them have city views. Each has a private bathroom with tiled floors. WiFi is free at reception. The Champagne Palace is just a 15-minute walk from the Roman Forum and the Coliseum. The surrounding area is full of traditional restaurants and cafés. The reception is open 24h everyday.

Entrance is steps with no...

Liked: The location close to transportation was a plus. The neighborhood had plenty of food offerings.
Disliked: The entrance was steps (10) only with no railing. We had a person in the group with mobility issues and needed a railing for steps so they would have to go up and down the steps on their butt every day. It was terrible. We have never had this experience before and we could not stay here again. We did not let this spoil our week in Rome, but it did change some of our behavior because of the challenges to access the room.

Great location

Liked: Location is great. It is closed to some main tourist attractions, restaurants, and to the public transportation.
Disliked: The hotel has significant potential due to its historical charm and great location, but a renovation or at least a refresh would be advantageous.
