Abysmal
Disliked: Couldn't locate plates at the breakfast. The pool area is full of rust and corroding away, absolutely disgusting to be sitting in. The water chairs need to be cleaned. The staff on check-in need to be more efficient and courteous

Will not be returning
Liked: Our stay did not live up to our expectations. The hotel was fully booked and it felt like everyone wanted to check in at the same time. There were not enough staff on duty to manage 3pm check in so the queue was out the door. We had already pre-checked in earlier that morning but still had to wait in the queue for 45 minute to get our key, which was not a great start to our stay. We paid extra for a room with a view and were disappointed to see our view was of the car park and an office block. When we spoke with a lovely lady on reception she was apologetic and said she'd check with the manager to see what they could do. The manager came out and said that the hotel had "shopping centre" and "bay views" so what we got was acceptable. I disagree. The pool is actually a lot smaller in real life than it appears in the photos. The handrails were rusted, very rickety and loose, they felt like they were going to break when you leant on them to walk down the steps into the pool. And don't get me started on how many screaming splashing kids were in there, including teenagers without adult supervision, which goes against hotel policy. We returned after 9pm when kids aren't allowed and it was left up to guests to inform people with kids that they weren't allowed, there were no staff on duty to take control of this. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. If you're a family, looking for somewhere to stay close to shops etc and budget is no issue then go for it but for what we paid it most definitely did not live up to expectations and was not worth the close to $500 we paid for the room + parking.
