Beautiful classic hotel in a...

Liked: This is a classic Spanish hotel on a street just off a major area of the city. Lots of the main attractions are walking distance and lots of great restaurants nearby. It's very well run, and with excellent staff who are very experienced at assisting with tourist issues for guests. It's clean and beautifully decorated, and there's a coffee machine in the breakfast room where you can get a variety of drinks free at most times. Depending on the time of year, it's usually reasonably priced.
Disliked: This time, I found my room quite noisy at times - usually early morning with people right outside my door and sometimes door slamming noises at night. Not often, but annoying. Also, I found the mattress a bit uncomfortable, which I had never noticed before. I think next time I will ask for a room a little farther away from the center of the hotel.

Liked: The location is excellent, and the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is varied, and the offerings are constantly replenished.
Disliked: A tea/coffee station in each room would be a welcome addition, although the centralised one on the ground floor functioned well.

Door banging wakeup calls

Liked: 24 hr friendly reception, my room and bed was big, the location is good, good rest common areas for coffee and tea for free
Disliked: Housekeeping would bang on the doors very early even if a do not disturb was on the door. Towels have holes and they're not consistent with the towels being provided.

Nice facility, but lacking room...

Liked: Walking distance to cathedral, palace, shopping, dining Good breakfast
Disliked: Bed had a single lean pillow. TV system is poor (buffs every 2 minutes), difficult to get in and out of the bath (room 205)

Liked: A lovely authentic,Spanish style hotel. Centrally situated in the old quarter near loads of shops and restaurants.Very helpful staff, all speak English. Very clean and would be lovely and cool in summer time.
Disliked: It would have been lovely to have a bath.

Liked: Good location.clean room
Disliked: Breakfast was chaos,not enough places to sit,short staffed,food constantly ran out.It was an ordeal rather than enjoyable,really lets the hotel down.I could not recommend this hotel or if you do stay go out for breakfast.
