Liked: It was in the city center.
Disliked: In my room (101), wifi did not work.

Great stay. Will book again...

Liked: The location was great. Right in the center of florence and only 5-6 min walk to the duomo. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby (make sure to drop by La Gelatteria, on your way back to the hotel, as they have the best authentic gelato- we had pear and cheese gelato everyday, its that good). Great facilities that you can use are available at the lounge/ kitchen areasWe checked in late so no one was available at the reception but the host or owner of the hotel gave us very clear instructions on how to self check in. There was a mishap when we accidentally closed one of the main doors leading to our room, which would require another key to open. But the owner instantly replied and addressed the issue.
Disliked: None. It was great

Liked: The bathroom and shower were good sized. The window opened to a nice street view. The elevator that went to the first floor was helpful. There was ample storage for our belongings.
Disliked: The room was run down and clearly had not been maintained in some time, there was evidence of leaking in the walls. The oversized lamp hung very low in the room. The bed and pillows were very hard.

Liked: Room cleaning is very good and is next to city center

Disliked: Elevator stopped at level 1 at reception. We were on 2nd floor and there’s lots of stairs. Reception said open 8am till 8pm and never saw anyone there. Wifi was extremely intermittent, if at all. Towels were not towels more like a tablecloths. Rooms tiny and no where really for luggage.

Passable

Liked: Location was very good. I liked there was a lounge area since the room WiFi was an issue.
Disliked: WiFi was weak or nonexistant in the room. Coffee machine in the lounge that you must pay if desired and the room had a wall repair that needed to be funished.
