Hmm
Liked: Location, staff tried to be helpful
Disliked: No hot water in the bathroom tab, cold water in the shower in the evening. The car park is not included in the price of the hotel - not clear from the website, limited number of spaces. Rooms tiny - hard to fit 2 suitcases,

Overall good, but could make...
Liked: The location was excellent, in the middle of everything and within easy walking distance of all the major sights. Booking the hotel parking was worthwhile (€10 per day- cheaper options exists undoubtedly but not so convenient), park the car and forget about it for the weekend, whereas on-street parking is €25 a day except Sundays. The breakfast was good and a comparable spend with any cafe or patisserie outside the hotel if you have a pain au chocolate/croissant, coffee and orange juice. The value for money was excellent.
Disliked: I think the bathroom in the room needs to be updated. The bathroom decor was outdated, sink cracked (see previous review photo), shower tray a little worn and shower doors didn't close properly. The shower was also very small, unsuitable for a large person (not sure what you can do about that). This was OK as I paid €60 a night. However, the thing I didn't like was doing battle with the shower. Water pressure was fine, plenty of hot water but the shower head couldn't be angled so that the water fell on me. I had no choice but to hold the shower head throughout. You had to be at least 5 foot 8 tall for the water to even hit your head. Shower head is angled to hit the opposite door panel above your head (I'm 5 foot 5) and there's nowhere else to put it (nor any soap or shampoo).
