Liked: Incredibly close to the cathedral/giralda as well as the alcazar. Hotel was beautiful. Rooms were clean. Service was great. Our train to Sevilla arrived early. We were greated with glasses of cava and offers to hold our luggage until the room was ready. Later during our stay we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, that day we had a complimentary bottle of cava chilling in our room when we came back that afternpon. We asked for a recommendation for a romantic dinner. They recommended a restaurant called El Traga, a 10 min walk away. They called and set up the reservation for us. Dinner was amazing. Food was delicious and service was impeccable.
Disliked: It was unclear what was included and what was not. We saw a sign advertising breakfast and merienda (snack/tea) hours. We assumed they were both extra so we chose to go out to local cafes instead. Realized toward the end of our stay that merienda was included so we went down for coffee and bites. I assumed that meant breakfast was also included, so I went down our last day for breakfast. It was very basic, continental, similar to the offerings at merienda but if was 18€ per person. It was perfectly nice but I had enjoyed a hot breakfast at a local cafe for 2 for the same price. In short, the hotel was wonderful but it was unclear what was and was not included.
