Great stay in the heart...

Liked: Really great choice. Right in the heart of the pedestrian area (and the old “Jewish Quarter”) around the cathedral, the room on the first floor was large and elegant with two giant crystal chandeliers and had a balcony looking right over all of the night activities. The balcony however had two layers of operable doors that completely shut out the noise.The bathroom had two sinks, a bidet and a nice tub shower and unlike most half glass doors, did not result in water going everywhere. Lots of hot water and good bath products. The electrical is “old style” so bring your chargers. Coffee and a hot water pot in the room.We had breakfast at the hotel one morning which was good but there are so many good restaurants within a 3-6 block radius I would not make it your only choice. There is a great roof deck for drinks and snacks with a pool but it was a bit chilly this time of year.Staff was always helpful and arranged a taxi to the airport which brought him right to the front door (which is difficult because of the pedestrian area).If we had one niggle, it was the two twins rather than a king but perhaps we slept better

Liked: The hotel was perfectly located and very comfortable. There was no street noise heard from the room despite being only metres away from a main thoroughfare. The breakfast was very good and the coffee was great. We also liked the afternoon tea provided although we only took advantage once during our four-night stay. The team on reception were very helpful and polite.
Disliked: Nil

If I come to Seville...

Liked: The hotel was located right in the heart of the city. It was clean and comfortable.We received nice coffee and cookies as a compliment.
Disliked: The water in the jacuzzi was constantly freezing, hot water came out for 2 minutes and cold water for 5 minutes. But that didn't stop us from having a wonderful stay at this hotel

Rude staff, specially for a...

Liked: The location was great and the property was beautiful.
Disliked: They advertise rooms with 2 separate beds on booking but then don’t deliver it. I booked the room with the Patio because it was the only one that offered 2 separate beds in Booking to later find out that they only had 1 option with this feature. The reception manager, Veronica Romero, was very rude with my friend and I in 3 situations. First, when my friend asked to shift rooms after sleeping in an extra bed that was very uncomfortable. Then, when I mentioned to her that the new room was infested with fruit flies - which is pretty bad for a luxury hotel like this. And Third, when we returned to the hotel and, once again, they couldn’t offer the room we paid for in booking with 2 beds so they offered a downgrade as an alternative. Usually the hotel offers some compensation when they downgrade you, but this time Veronica was very inflexible and repeatedly told us that she was doing us a favor by downgrading us to meet our 2 beds request (which, again, was the option we booked).
