Disappointing

Liked: Staff were nice. Close to station.
Disliked: The room had strong weird smell, dark lighting - really depressing feeling, nothing like in the pictures.

A Difficult Stay

Liked: The bed size was great.The shower pressure and temperature was good.
Disliked: The staff seemed to be annoyed that I spoke English. They often questioned me on if I stayed at the hotel. But didn't question the French guests.The curtains were also very see through so the light bled through

Good experience in Lille with...

Liked: The staff is helpful and friendly; the location is great with access to the city center and restaurants.
Disliked: The room is a bit small (for one person is fine).

Very central but rather basic

Liked: 10 minute walk from Eurostar / TGV station, 5 minute walk from Eurolille shopping mall, 2 minutes' walk from Flandres station. Good modern bathroom. Comfortable bed.Centrally located for visits to old town on foot. Lots of eating places nearby.Very "ecological" minded hotel, with some recycled furniture and aims to use local suppliers.
Disliked: Avoid rooms in the Annexe! Told it was up "a few steps" but was 25 twisting narrow steps to rooms on first of Annexe floors (there were 2 more floors, up more stairs). Breakfast space was small, and choice limited (unusual flavours of jam). Couldn't leave room window open due to noise from street / station, so became rather hot. No air con.
