I was going to give this hotel a 5 and very positive rating were it not for our last night there, where everything fell apart. At 10.30 at night we thought someone was trying to get into our room and found out it was the hotel staff! It would have been much simpler if someone had the brains to call us. We then discovered that due to the fact that we had decided to stay an extra night we were supposed to check out and check in again but NO ONE TOLD US THAT. In fact, we were told at the front desk that it was all taken care of. To make matters worse, they tried to get into our room, no phone call, THEN they called and told us we needed to get dressed and go downstairs (it was then 10.40pm). We refused and in the end the manager came to our room - couldn't he have done that at first? After much shouting, on our part, we resolved the issue at 11pm at night. What could have been simple, was made complicated by thoughtless employees and the poor manager, who was in fact quite nice, got yelled at (but it is his job) and we left the hotel with a bad taste in our mouth and will not stay there again, nor suggest that anyone else does. Do not blame your guests for something your employees have overlooked, especially late at night!

Liked: The food in the Cafe was very good and the staff were very pleasant. The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant also.
Disliked: We stayed in the M building and the ambiance of the main building didn't translate. It was cold and didn't seem to have any heat during the cold spell during Christmas. Our room was an assessible room. The room was fine except the bathroom didn't have any towel racks or hooks to hang anything. All towels had to be put on the huge disability rails. There was no place to hang a bath robe either. The bathroom needs to be more user friendly.
