Liked: The room was ok
Disliked: Honestly I’m really disappointed of the Bristol hotel. We chose it specially because it had an indoor pool but its temperature was so cold we were literally freezing so absolutely not relaxing when outside it’s 2 degrees and you just want to chill after your day. Also I’m truly saddened by the hotel staff who weren’t very kind, we could see the different way they treat other client. We are a young couple, not dressed like everyone else so I felt like we weren’t respected the same as older and « chic » clients. The last day we checked out we wanted to use the bathroom on the hall but they were a code to enter it, and they were a lady working for the hotel. She literally judged us, with an insistant staring, and she asked us if we were staying at the hotel. I told her yes we’re here since Saturday and she stared again very insisting, and said « are you sure ? » I felt unfairly judged and I told her to follow me at the reception so she can see by herself that we had our room for 2 nights and even our luggages in the front desk.This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and humiliating. I will never go back to that place, and they need to teach the staff how to react and behave with younger customers.

Brilliant stay - would definitely...

Liked: My 3rd or 4th visit to this hotel. Superbly clean and organised. Rooms were well looked after - everything just worked as it was intended. Breakfast was delightful. All the staff were excellent. Made you feel like “an honoured guest” - so refreshing today.
Disliked: One v minor gripe. Shame there were not more English speaking channels on the tv. As I said very minor.

Nice place to stay for...

Liked: Rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean. Great location, close to subway and train station, Berlin Zoo, Kurfürstendamm and plenty of restaurants as well as shops/malls within walking distance. Sauna area and pool were great for relaxing.
Disliked: I personally found the bed uncomfortable, mattress was way too hard for me.

Not worth the money.

Liked: The restaurant was the one positive aspect. The manager was friendly and attentive, and the food was enjoyable. However, even here, our waiter seemed disorganised.
Disliked: Our stay was disappointing on multiple levels. Right from arrival, the experience was far from welcoming. The first piece of information given to us was about a 250€ deposit, which we were not informed about when booking. Staff at reception seemed disinterested; young and with no knowledge in the hospitality sector. Directions to the restaurant, spa, and our room were vague, and we had to ask for these basic information while they were laughing and speaking in German.Finding the room was confusing, and once we got there, we discovered that the “double bed” was simply two single beds pushed together, which constantly slid apart, extremely uncomfortable, especially for a couple expecting a proper double bed. The bedding was also with 2 single duvets and far from the soft, comfortable experience we anticipated.Additionally, the towels were small, hard, and uncomfortable, the water pressure in the shower was weak, and the overall upkeep was disappointing. Housekeeping didn’t vacuum, change towels, or even remove dirty coffee cups, claiming it was to “save the planet,” which felt like an excuse to cut corners.The spa was another letdown. It looked nice in photos but didn’t live up to the expectations. The water was cold, children were allowed to run around freely, and the sauna only opened at 14:00, a strange timing, especially for guests out sightseeing.To top it off, a day before departure, we were disturbed and told to change rooms due to a “water issue,” with no offer of an upgrade/ refund or any gesture of apology.
