A hotel in a good...
Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: There were many things to dislike about this hotel. First, the room was incredibly small. I was barely about to move around the room. The bed took up the entire space. Second, the Internet connection for the entire hotel was not working for the whole second day of the stay. Third, and perhaps worst, the manager could not be trusted. I spoke to the manager about the Internet before checking out. She seemed very nice and promised that she would reemburse me for the inconvenience and gave me an email address to send my bank transfer details. I did this, but since then, I have sent 4 emails over 2 weeks asking what is happening, but I have been completely ignored by the hotel. This is really disappointing.Update: After posting the above review, I immediately received a message from the hotel manager saying that my request was being processed, but now that my review went up, they wouldn't reemburse me. This is despite me asking for confirmation about what happening in my 2nd email and also explaining in my 3rd and 4th email that I would contact Booking com if they didn't reply. So, it seems that posting my review was the only way to get her attention. Also, the manager initially said that she wasn't the manager, and then in a separate message admitted that she was. Very strange! After a few more communications, the hotel have now said that they will give me a 10 Euro reembursement on the condition that I remove this review. I was prepared to edit the review, but removing it entirely seems unfair to others who might be thinking of staying there. I will leave it up. I've changed the word 'dishonest' to 'untrustworthy' to more accurately reflect the situation.

Liked: The location is very good. Friendly staff.
Disliked: I would rather prefer not to review the hotels I don't like, but this time I was very disappointed with my choice of hotel. Although the reviews said the rooms are clean, in my case we were assigned a room where the cleaning was not properly done. And worse, in the bathroom was a strong smell of sewage. We were happy that we only stayed one night there. A hotel with such a good location should improve the cleaning of all rooms.

Very convenient, straight forward pit...
Liked: Convenient near train station and so other forms of transport.Great breakfast.Good variety. Best I encountered in 3 weeks at similar level of accommodation.Staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean bathroom and room.
Disliked: Area felt a little dodgy but in fact, was very safe during the daylight hours I walked around.Rooms were very small and harsh black and red decor.

Liked: Location near train station. Very good breakfast.
Disliked: They have some maintenance issues. My door handle fell off every time I closed the door. The sliding door to the bathroom was stuck open. Very odd sleeping a metre from the toilet.

Good location, even with double...
Liked: The room was fine for one person, it would have been too small for 2 people. I sleep reasonably well, however there is a lot of noise from the trains and workers outside. For the price I would have expected a quieter room.Breakfast was organized efficiently and was of reasonable quality.The location was good for getting around.
Disliked: When I arrived in my room, the bed looked like someone had just got out of bed, there were wet dirty towels around, and rubbish. I explained to receptionist, and the other person who was there, they didn’t understand the problem. (I only speak a little French, however this should never have happened). After they checked the room, I was offered a different room several floors above. I’m 2 months from being 70, and they didn’t offer to help me move my bags. Due to steps on the level I was on, it was difficult for me to move my bags again. No one actually said sorry, they just said they didn’t know how it happened.
