A perfect hotel in Puebla!
Liked: Incredible hotel, from start to finish. We needed moto parking and they fit in the entranceway where they were very safe (thank you!). Our room was on the top floor and even had a bath and bottles of bubble bath. Wifi was excellent, breakfast was too! From the top floor you can see the steaming volcano. We were sad to leave.

Charming but noisy and hot
Liked: The house is very nice, charmingly restored and decorated in colonial style. So was our room.
Disliked: Our room was on the street side. It was very noisy, and it was also very hot. The portable air conditioner supplied was not effective.

Great option
Liked: Very unique rooms, very comfortable and lots of space. The staff were really lovely too.
Disliked: You have to walk through the restaurant to get in and out and it was always dead but maybe that was just the nights I stayed

A fantastic value that immerses...
Liked: The property is an old 17th century house filled with antiques and even a small chapel. It was a fantastic find for visiting Zócalo. Even the room keys seem original and took some practice to get right. The staff was exceptional and were the most accommodating of any place I've ever stayed. I thought it was fantastic value at essentially $75USD/night in February.
Disliked: I didn't notice air conditioning in my room (thought I remembered seeing it as a listed feature) and the older doors don't seal in the frame so the room likely gets warm in the hot season (May-July). However, it was perfect weather during my mid-Feb stay!
