Fantastic location at a good...

Liked: Fantastic location, right by the cathedral but on a quiet street. The building is quirky with many unique features. One of our rooms had a terrace with views of the cathedral (room 302). The other room (203) was darker with a small window that opened onto the enclosed lobby. Both rooms were spacious and comfortable with nice bathrooms. Cleanliness was excellent. The public terrace on the roof was delightful for viewing the cathedral at night. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available. The breakfast included more than we could eat so we took the fruit for lunch. Highly recommended.

Disliked: Was charged for 3 nights only stayed 2.So important to double check payment details in a lot of these hotels as they are quick to overcharge.

Liked: It’s a beautiful property in a great location. Although limited choice, the breakfast was delicious
Disliked: Charming but not quite ‘boutique’ standards - particularly the bathrooms in some rooms.

Old fashioned

Liked: There wasn’t any choice for the breakfast except how you had your eggs cooked. And the scrambled egg wasn’t to my liking.
Disliked: I didn’t like the bedroom - no window to see the weather.

Overpriced and small room

Liked: Upgraded to a penthouse room. It hardly should be described as a penthouse as it was tiny. Small double bed. Tiny bathroom. Nice outdoor deck. I had stayed in a less expensive hotel the week before and if it had been available I would have left this place even though I had pre paid.
