Good location, small rooms, nice...

Liked: Good hotel, nicely located, rooms are small but have everything you need. Folks who work at front desk are nice.
Disliked: So here comes all the red flags and bad experience we got that most likely will force us to stay away from this hotel in the future.They partner with Icon parking on and promote $39+tax rate for one of the Icon parking garages 5 blocks away from the hotel on their website https://www.hotelboutiqueatgrandcentral.com/When I parked my car there, parking team member assured me they partner with this hotel and said you need to stamp voucher in hotel to proof your stay.Person at front desk of hotel stamped it and confirmed I parked at the partner garage.When I was picking up my car, i was expecting to pay for 2 nights and with that $39+tax rate per night.Parking tho overcharged me by around 20%-25% saying that they do not partner with this hotel, they have their own system that calculates the stay, that they have nothing to do about the voucher and stamp as well as they will call to hotel saying that they false advertising this location.I did not hear a clear answer why I was rest assured by their staff member that I'm parking at the right location when i was parking the car.Ok, I went to hotel front desk and asked for explanations. Person at front desk started with showing me different parking rate at the different website saying that's actually their rate and it's around $45+tax. Website they were referring too is https://clubquartershotels.com/. Big red flag!But even with that rate I paid more at parking which front desk person confirmed and said this math doesn't seem to be correct. Front desk person said - that's the third party vendor and i can't do anything about it, sorry. He was nice, tried to call to garage (they never picked up a phone of course) and said that he's going to reach out to his manager asking if they can help somehow, but I've never heard back a week after check-out and even after I called them and asked for an update by leaving a note.

Good hotel for the price

Liked: I liked the coffee makers in the room along with the 27th floor balcony, and the staff were always super friendly and helpful. Plus, they had great laundry facilities and amenities.
Disliked: I didn't like that the room had no fridge or microwave, and the size was also rather small, and the bed was a tad uncomfortable, but other than that, it was a good stay.

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel was in a perfect location, right beside grand central station and only a 10 minute walk to Times Square. The room was really spacious and clean, and the staff were fantastic. The hotel had free refillable water bottles on every floor, and complimentary tea and coffee on the top floor which was fantastic. The terrace on the top floor had beautiful views of the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Liked: Great location. The staff was professional and friendly. The refillable water bottles in every floor were very convenient and a nice perk.
