Hôtel Bordeaux Clémenceau by Happyculture, Bordeaux

Very convenient, pleasant and clean....

Disliked: Lift was very slow and difficult. Property hard to find on the street. Would be great to have disposable shower caps and hair conditioner and i found it difficult without them. There was only one towel and a heated rail would have helped warm the room and dry the towel, instead of asking for an extra towel. Liked the coffee and tea bar at reception area, but prefer natural milk or UHT milk to powder milk, which is very cheap and unpleasant.

An adequate overnight stay

Liked: Breakfast was OK.
Disliked: Finding the hotel at the end of a long journey was difficult. The parking situation was not explained at all well. The room was very small and the soundproofing not at all good.

Wouldn’t stay there again, too...

Disliked: I not up to a 3 star rating. Tiny rooms, strong smell of chemical cleaners in the. Had to sleep with the windows open all night

Lovely staff, great location but...

Liked: Location and staff. Stephanie was superb, very welcoming and took the time to tell me the best places to go. Very warm and friendly. Best receptionist I’ve seen in years and I travel a lot.
Disliked: Soft beds, basic rooms.

Not worth the money

Liked: It was located in the center of the city
Disliked: The room wasn’t cleaned there were women hair under the comforter and also in the showers.. like the sheets weren’t changed and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned.. Parking system is a scam. There is free Parking in the streets after 7pm-9am Sundays and Holidays also free.

Disliked: Q Park , couldn’t get out of the car park .Not directly the hotel’s fault , but they take the money , but don’t want to know if there’s an issue .. The client before me got stuck as well. If you can’t get out the car park not can anyone else …There isn’t an employee of the car park in the place ..You can’t hear dialogue from communication system at exit..Didn’t think b/fast was value , couldn’t get a seat ,, BUT… it’s a tiny hotel,, I’m amazed they can do a breakfast … Maybe they could do a deal with café next door..
