Liked: Beautiful clean room with on suite, fridge, TV and hair dryer. Cleaning service every morning.The staff were lovely and very helpful.Good ubication, close to local shops and train station.

Quiet and quirky hotel in...

Liked: Great quiet location in Charlottenburg. Room looked over the courtyard which was nice. The immediate area and street is lovely. Lots of nice cafes and bakeries in the area and it's quite an affluent area of Berlin so feels very safe. Good room and bathroom size. Quirky design, which I really liked. Very clean and nice bedding. Very friendly and hospitable staff. I felt like it was very good value for 2 nights in Berlin, but it does feel quite out of the city centre. It's a 10 minute walk to the S-Bahn and I think 5-10 to the U-Bahn.There's a nice looking Asian restaurant at the front of the hotel which seems very popular but didn't try it.
Disliked: A little tired in terms of decor, but very clean and tidy.Bathroom is a little awkward- it's an open shower next to the toilet with a net curtain, so things do get a quite wet, but dried off well. No kettle in room. Fridge is available but switched off for environmental reasons and you have to request for it to be turned on. No air conditioning in the room that I can see, but there were so many different switches in the room (loads!) I couldn't work it out- they're a little confusing.
