Quiet and cosy hotel in...

Liked: Hotel is situated on a field away from busy road, so it’s quiet. We came later so our keys were waiting for us at the box. Breakfast had various options for each taste. Rooms are spacious, clean and cosy.
Disliked: Matresses and pillows are extremely soft and don’t give your body the support it needs - sleeping was not comfortable.

Would not use this property...

Disliked: This is the first time using Booking.Com that the room I thought I reserved was not what the Hotel had ready. There was a clear language issue. My profile has me as a USA citizen (English speaking) and I travel with my wife. They had a single room reserved. They adjusted it for another 50 Euro. I paid it but that was very customer unfriendly. Also they sent me a message in German which I could not read. We arrived and were told the restaurant was closed (On a Wednesday Night). They said the sent me a message. Again costomer unfriendly. I reserved this place because it was surrounded by farm land, has free parking on site, showed a nice two person bed and had a restaurant. Well we received half of what we thought we reserved.

Liked: The staff was very nice and kind. The room was clean and comfortable.Breakfast was delicious, many options and nice dining room. Since hotel is a bit out of city, it is very quiet.

Slightly disappointing

Liked: So the staff were nice enough and the hotel itself is nice looking, modern and very clean. The rooms lacked a bit, no fridge, no air con no tea and coffee fasciitis which wouldn't be a problem if you could get something nearby but no. This hotel is pretty much outside the town with nothing around, which was why I picked it. After a long drive I decided I wanted somewhere that had an on site restraunt and bar. I could check in, shower, change and relax with a meal and a drink only to arrive and be told the restraunt is closed on a Wednesday. There is no mention of this at all on the booking.com site. They gave me a couple of suggestions in town to try which were also shut. After walking around town for a bit I eventually found somewhere but this wasn't in my plan and obviously couldn't have wine with my meal as I had to drive. Disappointing!!! Also this is personal but my mattress was way too soft. Not saying it's a bad hotel just lots of little things let you down.Breakfast was lovely.
