Pleasant hotel but could be...

Liked: I liked the cleanliness of the hotel and the fact that the center was accessible on foot.
Disliked: The room was rather small for three visitors and its shape was not very functional. The main issue was the pillows which were simply huge and extremely thick. I asked the reception if they had anything normal but the response was that this was their normal size. Needless to say that paying to sleep without a pillow is not a pleasant option.

Liked: Everything in the room was very clean and looked new. Air conditioner was also modern and working silently
Disliked: The door out to the corridor was far from being soundproof. You will hear constant clapping of doors, voices and other noises when people started to assemble for breakfast from the early morning unless your room is in the far end of a corridor.

The place you want to...

Liked: The bed - big and comfortable. Location - close to the metro and tram stations, but you can also walk to the center. Many options to eat or have a drink, close to the hotel. Good breakfast.
Disliked: The tram noise, that can be annoying when sleeping.

An excellent choice as a...

Liked: Ideally situated on the public transport network (free to over 65’s!) within easy reach of Prague’s tourist attractions. The hotel was. Spotlessly clean, breakfast varied and plentiful and staff friendly and efficient.
Disliked: There was a kettle in the room but only a few fruit tea and no English Breakfast tea bags. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were too soft and spongy. Only four coat hangers provided and the maid couldn’t provide more. These are minor niggles and we would not hesitate to return to Hotel Beránek.
