Nice, unique, historic hotel in...

Liked: Hotel was unique, interesting and old fashioned with a good location in the town. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall good stay.
Disliked: The stairs from the upstairs balcony seemed like they could be a little dangerous at night if you aren't careful

Vintage charm in a cute...

Liked: The property is charming and welcoming. The owners are renovating and restoring the building, which will be a showplace. It's nice to be able to support a local business. Check in was quick and painless. My room was not huge, but it was spotless and comfortable. Real cotton sheets and towels were soft and comfy. Coffee was available 24 hours; the continental breakfast looked great. Lots of free parking. Fridge in the room; microwave just down the hall or in the lobby.
Disliked: There was nothing I disliked; just a couple of things to note. The antique staircase has shallow steps--use the handrails. The shower is dark; be careful entering/exiting.

A surprisingly very good experience....

Liked: Our experience - in general - was very good.Breakfast was a very good experience. Variety of cereals, breads, fruits, they even had lactose free milk, and almond milk We were surprised by the good service provided by the staff, and the family atmosphere. The quality of the bed was superlative.
Disliked: The bedroom could be improved if both sides of the bed have nightstand and a lamp. On one side of the bed (the wall side) there was only a chair and no lampSome suggestions about the kitchenette:We think it would be a big improvement to provide two or three sets of real plates and cutlery.It is a bit complicated to use the microwave and the stove when you do not have adequate containers either to cook or to warm/heat any type of food.The only elements provided were disposable paper plates, and a few plastic cutlery items. The cabinets were absolutely empty.
