Hotel air conditioning unit way too loud. Bar service and staff exceptional. Staff at hotel lobby should have some kind of uniform, not plain clothes.

Exactly what we wanted. Staggering distance from the Commodore! Clean and comfortable.

Liked: Nice staff. Clean hotel.
Disliked: Key cards were annoying. Had to go to front desk several times to get them fixed.

All and all it was a lousy experience and I would like my money back .

Disliked: The room was very small; the sheets were clean but the bedding smelled stale; the elevator was out of order when we came back from Cirque du Soleil. I am 73 years old with knee problem and I had to walk 5 flights of stairs to get back to our room; the staff at the front desk were rude and indifferent - I asked if they had a service elevator and they said there was no service elevator, and told us that since it was not an emergency the elevator would probably not be fixed for 3 or 4 more hours, and had no way of helping me out. So I struggled up 5 flights of stairs. The breakfast was lukewam. The $139 room ended up costing close to $190. They did not tell us on arrival that parking was $18 - another lovely surprise.

Contemporary Stay in Metropolitan Downtown...

Liked: It had a distinct European vibe, as I’ve stayed in multiple Novatel, Ibis, Mecure in the EU it was very similar. Loved the Contemporary design, Skoah products and Nespresso machine in the room.
Disliked: Nothing of note

Great place, stylish hotel close...

Liked: Very good high end hotel with cool style and without the fancy price tag. The team is extremely helpful and nice. Our baggage was brought up to our room and back out to our car on departure without asking for it which was a very nice touch as my husband is not allowed to lift anything for medical reasons, and usually I’m left with handling our 4 luggages by myself. Location can’t be beaten, it’s in downtown close to everything. Parking price is very reasonable compared to other hotels in downtown.
Disliked: I asked for an extra duvet as we prefer to sleep with separate duvets. They put one extra in the room but it wasn’t made up and they didn’t leave cover for it so it was kinda pointless. Sound proofing could be better, as downtown noise is very present all night.

Absolutely perfect for our Vancouver...

Liked: Absolutely everything! Location, space, house keeping, design and staff were amazing
Disliked: Steps at the front where we had to drag luggage up
